The Cevennes region is situated in the South of France and is serviced by several airports including Nimes and Montpellier. Due to the expanse of the region, and dependant on your holiday plans, it is normally recommended that you hire a vehicle for your stay. All airports have pick up and drop off car hire facilities for your convenience.

Travel by ferry is also straightforward. Regular sailings from Portsmouth to St Malo (Northern Brittany) and Bilbao (Spanish/French border) give you the two closest ports, whereas a shorter crossing from Dover to Boulogne will leave about a 10 hour drive to the gite.
